Sound Relaxation

Sound Relaxation works by using live sensory sounds to gently take people into a state of deep relaxation. It works even for those who find it near-impossible to relax in their daily lives. Sound relaxation benefits people directly at this post-pandemic time when so many of us need extra support.

We work in partnership with funding bodies and local organisations to make this activity available in the community.

Sound Relaxation benefits people through:

  • Offering quality me-time and the chance to unwind fully

  • Offers an inclusive shared experience in a supportive group setting

  • Can help regulate heartbeat and blood pressure and support better sleep patterns

  • Can help relieve of stress-related symptoms like tension and headaches

Our sound relaxation sessions are accessible and we adapt them to meet the needs of our participants. We don’t expect people to lie on the floor, or to keep still for an extended period.
